I’ve had a busy day in the Senate, where I introduced the Gas-Operated Semi-Automatic Firearms Exclusion (GOSAFE) Act to protect our communities from gun violence. But I have a few minutes of free time, so I wanted to reach out one last time before our team’s November fundraising deadline tonight, folks. My Finance Director, Rosnelly, just told me we’re $1,926 short of our November fundraising goal, which is concerning. We set our fundraising milestones based on the budgets we've planned to reach voters in tough races, hold outreach events, support local candidates with small budgets, and more. All of these efforts combined are an important part of our work to keep New Mexico and the Senate blue, and elect Democrats at every level of government.
