My team knows how I feel about political punditry and grand predictions: They’re often silly, exaggerated, and designed to entertain more than anything else. 

And I’m wary of putting too much stock into polls that predict an election outcome almost a year away. But I’ll admit that a few recent reports have my team a tiny bit nervous:

1. CQ Roll Call said my campaign could be vulnerable in 2024.
2. Experts at FiveThirtyEight called Virginia a potential “pickup opportunity” for Republicans.
3. Recent elections and polling results demonstrate that Virginia is still as competitive as ever -- a true battleground state. 

Republicans expect us to put Virginia in the “Safe Democratic” category, given our success in this month’s legislative elections. They hope they can catch us by surprise next November. 

I refuse to let that happen. 

I’m ready to take them on, but I need you with me. My team set a goal of raising $23,475 before midnight on Thursday, November 30. Can you pitch in to help us reach it?
