John, you may not know this about me, but I do a bit of moonlighting as a stand-up comic.
And trust me, I’m not giving up my day job.
So take it from me when I say, as the target of Sean Hannity’s stand-up set at the Fox Nation Patriot Awards show in Nashville, he’s a pretty lame comedian. Here he is, comparing my last name to “sh*t.” How original.

I’m flattered, by the way. While simultaneously more than a little disturbed.
The level of acceptable discourse in this country has never been lower — and it’s not only due to Donald Trump, but to powerful figures in the far-right media like Sean Hannity.
