Team, During his State of the Union address, Trump stood before the nation and vowed to protect our health care, including Medicare and Social Security. That empty promise didn’t even last a week. Trump’s new budget proposal cuts over $1.5 TRILLION from Medicare and Medicaid, and another $24 billion from Social Security. That’s unacceptable. Even with the rise of the coronavirus outbreak, Trump’s budget seeks deep cuts to the Centers for Disease Control — not to mention education funding, housing programs, environmental protections, and more.
Trump pardons his friends, targets his enemies, and keeps Republicans close using tax cuts for corporations and the wealthy — funded by shredding health care and benefits for everyone else.
