Dear friend,
Today is GivingTuesday, and I want to take a moment to share with you the importance of the work we do at NHRC and invite you to join us in making a difference in the lives of people who use drugs and communities impacted by the so-called “War on Drugs,” more accurately described as a war on people.
What is GivingTuesday?
GivingTuesday is a worldwide movement that harnesses the power of collective generosity. It's a day to unite, give back, and support the communities you care deeply about.
Why NHRC?
For 30 years, NHRC has been at the forefront of the harm reduction movement. We unapologetically love and stand in solidarity with people who use drugs, their families, and allies dedicated to amplifying their voices and uplifting their experiences.
We enhance capacity through collaboration with Syringe Services Programs (SSPs) and grassroots organizations, driving the harm reduction movement forward. We advocate for policy reforms to expand access to evidence-based harm reduction strategies. We strive to ensure sterile syringes are readily available to individuals who use drugs, and we save lives by getting naloxone and fentanyl test strips into the hands of people who need them.
Your call-to-action: Give today!
To continue this vital lifesaving and life-affirming work, we need your support today. Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful impact.
Join us in supporting harm reduction efforts nationwide and breaking down barriers to healthcare, housing, and hope for people who use drugs. Your generosity will help us challenge stigmas, advocate for policies that value compassion, and make a lasting difference in the lives of those who need it most. Together, we can create positive change and forge a path toward a healthier, more inclusive future.
