After considering the developments over the past several days and guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and other health agencies, NBWA has made the difficult decision to cancel our Legislative Conference. Over $1 million raised for families of Molson Coors shooting victims

The crowd-sourced fund to support the families of victims of the shooting at Molson Coors Brewing Company’s Milwaukee campus last month has totaled over $1 million. All funds collected will go directly to the families of the five victims: Dale Hudson, Gennady Levshetz, Jesus Valle Jr., Dana Walk and Trevor Wetselaar.

Who’s ready for baseball season?

For the upcoming baseball season, Yuengling is taking its partnership with the Phillies to the next level and Yuengling Traditional Lager will become the “Official Lager of the Philadelphia Phillies.” Yuengling will also be releasing Phillies-branded cans that feature a retro version of the team’s logo.

Non-alcoholic brewery receives $17.5 million in funding

As the non-alcoholic beer trend continues, Athletic Brewing Company has seen an increase in demand. To help fill this demand they have secured $17.5 million in funding with a portion being used to purchase a San Diego brewery once occupied by Ballast Point Brewing Company.

Amazon will offer its Amazon Go technology to other retailers

Amazon is announcing a new business line selling the technology behind its Amazon Go cashier-less convenience stores to other retailers. The service will be called “Just Walk Out” and items picked up by a customer who enters the store will be added to their virtual shopping cart.
