Dear John xxxxxx Last week, the U.S. Supreme Court was hearing a pro-life case of a Louisiana law that requires abortion doctors to have admitting privileges at a hospital near the abortion clinic. At the same time, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) stood outside the Supreme Court building and publicly threatened two of the justices while speaking to a group of abortion supporters. "I want to tell you, Gorsuch. I want to tell you, Kavanaugh. You have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price!" Schumer warned. "You won't know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions." Many took Schumer's words as inciting possible violence against the justices, should the Court uphold the Louisiana law. Urge your senators to vote in favor of censuring Sen. Chuck Schumer. In a public statement, Chief Justice John Roberts took Schumer to task for his threats, saying they are "not only inappropriate, they are dangerous… . All members of the Court will continue to do their job, without fear or favor, from whatever quarter." According to FoxNews, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) has continued to call for Schumer to be censured after introducing a resolution in the Senate to do just that. And dozens of well-known conservative leaders signed a letter Monday adding their voices to the calls.
