Dear John,

How did you learn to resolve conflicts?

Earlier this year, fourth grader Mia put the leadership skills she’s gained as a Playworks Junior Coach, our signature youth leadership program, into action when she resolved a conflict between two upset kindergarten students at her school. Mia ensured that both students felt heard, helped them understand that it was an accident, and made sure that they were both okay before returning to class.
Student leaders learn the importance of empathy, effective communication, and collaboration – skills that are fundamental for resolving conflicts and promoting an inclusive community in a playful way on our playgrounds every day.

Supporting Playworks <[link removed]> means you are ensuring that even more kids gain these valuable conflict resolution skills that can help them on the playground, in the classroom, and beyond.

Today, your gift will go even further with every gift being matched up to
$150,000 by the Playworks National Board of Directors.

This Giving Tuesday, multiply your impact for kids like Mia across the country. Check with your employer to see if they have a matching gift program. Donate now <[link removed]>.
