Dear John,

I wanted to take a moment to wish you and your loved ones a Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving offers a natural point of reflection – it’s a time to think about our greatest blessings in life.

I always say Minnesota’s Second District is home to the best of the best – and I’m tremendously grateful to serve you all as your representative in the United States Congress.

Thank you for your continued partnership and dedication to building stronger, safer communities across the South Metro. We’ve been able to accomplish some pretty remarkable things together, and I can’t wait to see what’s next.

Here's what else I was up to this week:

Working with Minnesota's med tech companies

Before coming to Congress, I spent nearly 20 years working in the medical technology field – so I know firsthand the importance of having strong supply chains.

Earlier this week, I met with local med tech leaders to hear from them about what they need to build a resilient supply chain that helps Minnesotans get the medical care they need.

Investing in Shakopee's public safety workforce

On Tuesday, I got to deliver $81,000 in federal grant dollars to the Shakopee Police Department.

These funds will be used to provide mental health support to Shakopee police officers and make sure our officers have the care they need as they work to keep our communities safe.

Behind the scenes with Rep. Craig:

Team Craig made their way over to the Burnsville Fire Department for CPR training last week! I wanted to shout out Burnsville Assistant Chief Neal Dwyer and Captain Ryan Anderson for taking the time to give my team this important training.

I wanted to end with a final reminder that we are in the middle of Medicare Open Enrollment!

Medicare health and drug plans change every year – and your plan may be changing too. Make sure to visit https://www.medicare.gov/ before December 7th to review your health care plan for 2024.

That’s my update – have a great weekend!

Until next week,
