John -
As we gather with loved ones this Thanksgiving to give thanks, all of us at Save the Boundary Waters extend our heartfelt gratitude to you. Without your love of this Wild place, we would not have achieved the historic 20-year mining ban that was issued this year to protect the Boundary Waters watershed, nor, could we have built a strong national movement of people, just like you, who are committed to advocating for this special place until it receives the permanent and lasting protections it deserves.
Thank you for being part of an incredible community of Wilderness Defenders. Your dedication, whether through donations, advocacy, sharing the movement on social media, or spreading awareness, enables us to pursue solutions that not only protect the Boundary Waters today but for generations. You are a testament to the fact that when we join together and raise our voices to speak loudly for this quiet place, we make a significant impact.
As we continue into this season of gratitude, community, and reflection, I want to say once again - thank you. Thank you for your demonstrated commitment to Save the Boundary Waters and bringing us one step closer to permanent protection for our one-of-a-kind Wilderness.
With gratitude,
- The Team at the Campaign to Save the Boundary Waters
