Many of you know me as Mrs. Murphy: the First Lady of New Jersey. Serving in that role has been the honor of my lifetime, but that’s only a part of my story.

I’m a wife and a mom to four incredible kids. Like most moms, I know the million things that parents worry about every day — from keeping the kids safe, to ensuring they have a good school, to simply keeping food on the table.

I’m a leader in the fight to save our environment. I fought hard to ensure NJ kids were taught about climate change and its causes, and as a result of that work, we’re the first state in the nation to have a climate change curriculum in every public school.

I’m New Jersey’s leading advocate for moms and babies. When I learned that more NJ women died in childbirth than in nearly every other state, I rolled up my sleeves and got to work. I’ve led the charge to reduce our state’s maternal mortality rate.

Now, I’m running to fight for every family. New Jerseyans deserve a United States Senator they can be proud of — a Senator who’ll fight for them every day. That’s what I intend to do.
