Public Safety: Every resident of our district deserves to live in a safe community free from violence and criminal activity. Tizzy’s public safety focus includes:
- Reducing criminality and supporting reentry with effective social programs
- Fully implemented community policing
- Addressing the flow of illegal firearms to our neighborhoods
- Criminal justice reform based on proven best practices
- Protecting Delaware’s immigrant and refugee populations
Economic Opportunity: A healthy, fair, and sustainable economy is one that works for everyone. Her economic development priorities include:
- Delivering resources and job training to district residents
- Assuring that all workers can access gainful employment and a living wage
- Affordable housing and addressing the problem of vacant properties in SD3
- Supporting healthcare as a basic human right
Good Government and Fair Taxation: Government exists to serve the people, not the other way around. Tizzy will fight for:
- Making voting as accessible and convenient as possible
- Agency accountability and transparency
- A progressive tax code that protects the working and middle classes
