 This giving season is a busy one for us here at Oyate Group. Over the next few months, we’re:
Donate
  • Selecting the winners of our newest program, Community Capital, a start-up incubator program for BIPOC entrepreneurs from The Bronx, Harlem and Washington Heights with up to $50k in seed money available for winners
     
  • Giving away over 2,000 turkeys to families this Thanksgiving
     
  • Placing 20 undocumented youth in internship placements at local colleges, universities and local businesses through our paid Beyond Rising internship program
     
  • Making the holiday season brighter with our second-ever toy drive for local families
     
  • Launching Rise Leadership, a development program for high school sophomores and juniors to become creators, critical thinkers, community leaders and social change-makers, with the opportunity to go on an international service learning and cultural immersion international trip

This coming Tuesday, November 28th, 

Is Giving Tuesday, a global movement of investing in the community and organizations that uplift those in need. At Oyate Group our mission is to create holistic, sustainable solutions to our communities’ most pressing issues to eradicate poverty throughout our city. We ask you to join us in this mission by donating this year! Your contributions, from $5 to $500, can go a long way in changing New York City for the better.

Giving Opportunities

  • $10 gives a local child a present this holiday season
  • $25 provides a family with a Thanksgiving turkey
  • $100 supports the small business needs of Community Capital entrepreneurs
  • $500 covers a month’s pay for our Beyond Rising interns this school year
  • $1,000 sends one Rise Leadership participant on an international trip to expand their horizons
  • $5,000 sponsors one year of college for a Brandon Hendricks scholarship winner
