We are celebrating National Family Week. Today is National Child's Day and World Children's Day. In November we observe Aviation History Month, Diabetes Month, and Family Caregivers Month. The 2023 Atlantic and Pacific Hurricane Seasons end November 30.

National Family Week: November 19-25

In 2022, there were 83.3 million families in the U.S. and average family size had shrunk to 3.11 from 3.20 in 2007, according to the American Community Survey. ?

National Child's Day: November 20

World Children's Day: November 20

In 2023, the majority (71.1%) of America?s 72.3M children under 18 lived with two parents and the next largest share (20.9%) lived with their mothers only.

National Aviation History Month: November

The M3 Survey reports the 2022 seasonally adjusted value of shipments of U.S. total defense aircraft and parts was $54.5 billion. Nondefense was $117.3 billion.

National Diabetes Month: November

The County Business Patterns program in 2021 counted 8,440 U.S. kidney dialysis centers with 131,953 paid employees and a $7.6 billion annual payroll.

National Family Caregivers Month: November

In 2022, there were 764,521 U.S. personal care aides, 391,950 child care workers and 261,817 home health aides, according to the American Community Survey.

2023 Atlantic Hurricane Season: June 1-November 30

2023 Pacific Hurricane Season: May 15-November 30
