Dear John,

It was a busy week, but I’m back to keep you in the loop on how I am fighting
for our conservative values.

Today is National Adoption Day and November is Adoption Month. Supporting
adoption services is an integral part of being pro-life. It is a positive
alternative to abortion, giving both children and loving families the
opportunity for a better future. In Congress, I sponsored theHope Act, which
provides grants to community organizations that support new mothers—including
adoption services. I will always be an advocate for life, motherhood, and key
services that unite foster children with loving “forever” homes.

I'm joining my fellow Minnesota Republican U.S. House members—Brad Finstad,
Tom Emmer, and Pete Stauber—to press the Walz administration on the Feeding Our
Future scandal. We've already reached out three times to the U.S. Department of
Agriculture regarding the lack of oversight that enabled a massive COVID-19
fraud scheme, totaling around $250 million in taxpayer money. We need to get to
the bottom of this issue and hold accountable those responsible for this
corrupt scandal. As of now, we're awaiting a response from the Minnesota
Department of Education and remain committed to bringing those responsible to
justice.

This week, the U.S. government passed a two-step continuing resolution, or CR,
to fund a portion of the government until January 19, and the rest through
February 2. While this process will avoid chaotic spending negotiations at the
end of the year, it did not accomplish one of the primary goals this Congress
has set out to do: reduce government spending. Therefore, I decided to vote
against this bill. I look forward to working with my colleagues to pass the
remaining government funding bills and get this country's financial house in
order.

Congress must prioritize the swift passage of the Farm Bill to address the
pressing needs of our farmers and ranchers. Delaying this legislation until
September, just before an election, would risk a lapse of critical tools
western Minnesota farmers use to succeed. Now is the time for proactive,
bipartisan work to craft a forward-looking Farm Bill that addresses global
challenges and ensures resilience and sustained success for our agricultural
industries.

As always, please contact my office if there is anything we can help with.
Thank you for your continued support!

With gratitude,
