Last month, I joined my colleagues in demanding Mike Johnson take immediate action to end gun violence.

Gun violence continues to be the leading cause of death for children and teenagers in America. And after Republican dysfunction immobilized our resources and ability to act to prevent gun violence, it is imperative we get back to work.

As a proud member of the Gun Violence Prevention Task Force, I’m working tirelessly to ensure the numerous bipartisan gun violence prevention bills currently in committee are considered and acted upon.

We must not let Republican dysfunction stop us from addressing our gun violence crisis.
