Dear John,
As part of my work at Save the Boundary Waters this year, I witness the power of bringing in new voices into the movement to protect this incredible Wilderness. I have had the pleasure of working with some of our fantastic partners to support inclusion for everyone, especially those who face barriers to accessing and participating in the conservation of wild places.
Today, on Give to the Max Day, will you make a donation to help us connect more people to the Boundary Waters? [[link removed]] Your gift will be doubled thanks to a generous matching donor, so any amount you can give will have twice the impact.

We’re proud to collaborate with groups, organizations, and individuals who are planning Boundary Waters related trips or projects for folks who otherwise likely wouldn’t be able to experience the Wilderness and find their voices as advocates.
In 2023, we supported groups ranging from a YMCA Wilderness tripping camp that brought youth facing barriers to stability and self-sufficiency up north to learn about dog-sledding, wilderness skills, and the value of working as part of team, to Ely and Grand Marais area programs that get LGBTQ+ youth into the Wilderness for the first time, to an adult birding group that traveled Minnesota’s North Shore to the Hawk Ridge to witness firsthand some of the incredible raptors in our state.

These collaborations and relationships are so valuable, and the stories of these transformational experiences bring more people into the growing movement to protect the Boundary Waters forever. With your help, we can create more life-changing experiences for a new generation of Boundary Waters advocates.
But we can’t do it alone. Most of our funding comes from thousands of individual donors across the country, just like you. Whether you are able to donate $5, $50, or $500. Every dollar counts. And the best part? Donate now, and your gift will be doubled. [[link removed]]
