My “NO” vote on the spending bill

Friend -

I voted “NO” on yesterday’s continuing resolution, and it’s important that you know why.

The simple fact is, we can’t keep going down the path of reckless spending in Washington.

I understand why some folks felt like this was the best way to go, but when I looked at, I saw a resolution that:

Extends bloated funding levels put in place by Democrats

Avoids much-needed transparency

Kicks the debt can down the road yet again!

This country is $33.7 trillion in debt. And there are trillion-dollar annual deficits projected as far as the eye can see.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

To avoid a catastrophe, we need to get the budget under control ASAP, and I will fight for fiscal sanity every day.
