It outlaws lead ammo at the range – and this means ANY range – indoor and outdoor. The bill will outright ban sport shooting ranges from selling, giving away or permitting any ammo from being used unless it’s been certified as nonlead.
This bill is a sucker punch to both shooters and to range owners. This would directly impact shooters who want to improve their target and safety skills as non-lead ammo is tough to find (less than 25% of available non-shogun ammo is non-lead).
