Folks, quick question: What do marathons and Congressional campaigns have in common?
Answer: They both require a whole lot of running!
I know, I know, that was a bad dad joke. But it’s true!
(So I’d appreciate it if you could look past that cheesy joke and chip in a quick donation to support my re-election campaign here in IL-06.)
I’ve run marathons and run for Congress, folks, and I can tell you they’re not really all that different.
	- Months or even years of preparation

	- A reason to stay motivated

	- A support system to keep you on track

	- Supplies in case of emergencies

And just like you need to start training for a marathon well in advance, campaigns need to start building up resources well before Election Day.
Especially because running a campaign for Congress in a presidential election year is about as challenging – and costly – as it gets.
So, will you chip in today to help us get off to a running start in this all-important race?
Thank you,
Sean Casten
