Dear John,

On this Veterans Day, let us take a moment to reflect not only on the
bravery and sacrifice of our servicemen and women but also on the need for
a fundamental shift in our approach to their well-being. The Libertarian
Party stands as a staunch advocate for our troops, not through empty
gestures, but through a commitment to bringing them home, keeping them
home, and ensuring they receive the support they truly deserve.

True support for our troops goes beyond parades and ceremonies; it means
preventing unnecessary overseas deployments that risk their lives for
causes unrelated to our national defense. The Libertarian Party recognizes
the importance of a strong defense but insists on avoiding the trap of
becoming entangled in endless foreign conflicts that only serve to strain
our military and diminish the lives of those who serve.

As we honor our veterans, we must acknowledge the struggles they face upon
returning home. Many grapple with post-traumatic stress disorder, physical
injuries, and the daunting challenge of reintegrating into civilian life.
The Libertarian Party stands for a future where our veterans don't find
themselves in these challenging situations in the first place; where they
are supported in their lives at home while preparing and at the ready to
provide a strong national defense.

A LEGACY OF BELLIGERENCE

Throughout our history, the United States has become increasingly entangled
in overseas conflicts, often with questionable relevance to our national
security. Libertarian philosophy advocates for a return to a foreign policy
that prioritizes the safety of our nation without needlessly endangering
the lives of our troops in far-off lands. Our foreign policy should adhere
to the non-aggression principle that we’ve adopted as a staple of our
core beliefs.

_BY SUPPORTING THE LIBERTARIAN PARTY, YOU EMPOWER A POLITICAL FORCE THAT
TIRELESSLY ADVOCATES FOR A FOREIGN POLICY ROOTED MINDING OUR OWN DAMN
BUSINESS. _Together, we can avoid unnecessary conflicts that burden our
troops and jeopardize their well-being. We truly are the only anti-war
party consistently on your ballot. Your support can ensure that future
generations of servicemen and women are not needlessly sent into harm's way
but instead remain where they belong: at home, with their families and
communities.

This Veterans Day, let us commit to more than just expressions of
gratitude. Let us commit to a future where our troops are not pawns in
geopolitical games, where they return to a nation that values their
sacrifice and provides the support they need. Support the Libertarian Party
at lp.org/donate [3] and help build a future where Veterans Day is not just
a reminder of sacrifices made, but a celebration of a nation that truly
lifts our veterans up. Together, we can ensure that our troops are honored
not only in words but in actions that reflect a commitment to their
well-being and a dedication to a more peaceful and just world.
