This week’s election results prove it.

John – Republicans spent 50 years trying to overturn Roe.

They finally succeeded, and justified their judicial coup against American women by claiming this issue needed to be decided by voters.

Well the voters have decided. They have decided again and again. And it turns out Americans don’t like it when you strip away our bodily autonomy.

Let’s just say it: Abortion wins elections.

A graphic featuring a headline from NPR that reads: “Abortion rights win big in 2023 elections, again”. Included is a photo of voters in Ohio jumping and screaming for joy as election results are announced that Issue 1 successfully passed and enshrined abortion rights into the state constitution.

For too long national Democrats have tip-toed around this issue while Republicans have LOUDLY declared their intention to ban all abortions, everywhere, for ANY reason – no exceptions.

But voters are screaming from the ballot box that they want us to defend their reproductive freedoms and bodily autonomy.

I hear you loud and clear, John, and I know that this is an issue that impacts all of us sooner than later.

That’s why I’m running Congress. And if voters in Kansas, Kentucky, and Ohio can defend abortion rights, then we can win this seat in Idaho. Can I count on your support?

This week’s election was FULL of great news for Democrats. Ruby Red Kentucky overwhelmingly voted to re-elect their Democratic governor, all because the Trump-endorsed Republican candidate promised to impose a total abortion ban.

Voters in Virginia took back the State Assembly for Democrats and held the Democratic majority in the State Senate after their Republican governor threatened to pass a 15-week abortion ban.

And of course you’ve heard about Ohio, a state that Donald Trump won by 475K votes in 2020, where voters turned out in DROVES to guarantee abortion rights by a margin of 500,000 VOTES.

But the good news doesn’t end there. Across the country, even in deeply conservative, rural states like Iowa, voters rejected extremist Moms for “Liberty”-backed school board candidates pushing book bans and anti-LGBTQIA policies.

And local races in pro-Trump counties from New Jersey to Washington state flipped for Democrats – all on the back of Republican efforts from county to Congress to strip abortion rights away.

The message is crystal clear: Americans want representatives who respect their bodily autonomy and will fight for their freedoms. And that’s exactly what we’re going to do when we flip ID-02 next year.

Let’s do this!

David Roth is a single, gay dad running for Idaho’s Second Congressional District. We’re going up against a GOP incumbent who has been in this seat for almost 25 years. It’s time for change in Idaho, and our grassroots campaign is building on the momentum that began in David’s race for U.S. Senate last cycle. The GOP is not planning to defend this seat, so we plan to take it from them and help Democrats retake the House majority next year. We’d love your support to build a solid campaign to bring progress to Idaho and the country.
