Just when I thought the Clarence Thomas scandal couldn’t get more corrupt, I was proven wrong (shocker!).

From undisclosed gifts like yachts, private resorts, to a mega donor buying his mother’s house, Clarence Thomas’ corrupt actions continue to leave me in absolute disbelief. Well the not ok-ness continues:

Yep! You read that right. A quarter of a million dollar loan, completely forgiven for a Supreme Court justice. The same justice who voted to overturn Roe v. Wade. This has real consequences!

Will you add your name to my petition to pass a new bill to make bribes like this illegal on the Supreme Court?

The fact that the American public had no knowledge of this kind of corruption for decades is insane. All of this has happened - and continues to happen - because the Supreme Court has no code of ethics.

That’s why I support a new bill: the Supreme Court Ethics Act. This will establish new rules of ethics for Supreme Court justices like Clarence Thomas, similar to the rules that are applied to me and every other member of Congress.

So, John, if you support ethics and more transparency on the Supreme Court, will you please add your name to this petition as I work to pass the Supreme Court Ethics Act?

This isn’t just about one corrupt Supreme Court Justice. This is about making sure our Supreme Court isn’t influenced by dark money and wealthy special interests. It’s despicable and we cannot let it continue.
