Dear Friend,

We owe an enormous debt of gratitude to our veterans who answered the call to serve and sacrificed so much to fight for and protect our nation.

Our veterans deserve more than just “thank you.” Today and every day, we must honor the tremendous sacrifices made by our veterans and their families and ensure they have the resources they need long after they hang up their uniform. From employment and educational opportunities to mental health support and world-class health care, delivering for our veterans is one of my top priorities in Congress.

Celebrating One Year of the PACT Act

This year, we celebrated the one-year anniversary of the PACT Act. This long-overdue legislation expands VA health care benefits to veterans exposed to toxic burn pits and Agent Orange during their service. Instead of having to jump through hoops to connect health conditions to their service, they can now receive the care they need for 23 common conditions that result from toxic fume exposure. Since we passed the PACT Act, more than 1.1 million veterans have filed PACT Act claims and are getting connected with the benefits they deserve. To learn more or to file your PACT Act claim, visit va.gov/PACT.

Supporting Military Families

As a member of the House Armed Services Committee, I was proud to fight for and secure a 5.2% increase in pay for our service members. The United States military is the best fighting force the world has ever seen because of our men and women in uniform, and I will continue to work to improve quality of live for our service members and military families.

Helping South Jersey Veterans

Over the past year, my team and I have helped hundreds of South Jersey veterans navigate the VA and break through bureaucratic red tape. If you need assistance with the VA or another federal agency, do not hesitate to contact my office by visiting my website or calling 856-427-7000.

Sincerely,
