John—
Earlier this year, 207 current members of Congress signed a letter officially asking the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade.1
One of the signers was so-called “Democrat” Rep. Dan Lipinski of Chicago.
Rep. Lipinski represents a solidly blue district, but he has spent his career attacking the freedom of women to make the best decisions for their families.
Lipinski nearly lost re-election in 2018, and his strong pro-choice opponent, Marie Newman, is on the verge of defeating him in the Democratic primary on March 17 — less than two weeks from today.
Donate to Marie Newman, a pro-choice champion who will fight for the women and families of Illinois, and help replace Dan Lipinski.
Dan Lipinski has voted to defund Planned Parenthood, supported a nationwide ban on abortion, and opposed the Affordable Care Act.2 In fact, Lipinski is so staunchly anti-choice that he has been a co-sponsor on bills to restrict reproductive freedom more than FIFTY TIMES.3
He’s (repeatedly!) spoken at "March for Life," one of the largest annual anti-choice protests in the country.4
It’s no wonder that the Susan B. Anthony List, a radical anti-choice organization, endorsed him for reelection.
The people of Illinois need a representative in Congress who will fight for their reproductive freedom, not work to dismantle it.
Marie Newman is the fierce advocate women and families of Chicago deserve. In this solidly pro-choice district, whoever wins the primary is all but guaranteed to win the election. That’s why investing in this race now is critical.
The Illinois primary is just days away. Will you rush a donation to help defeat anti-choice “Democrat” Dan Lipinski once and for all?
Thank you for all you do for reproductive freedom,
Ilyse Hogue President, NARAL Pro-Choice America
