There are less than 12 hours until polls close in battleground states like Virginia and Pennsylvania, so before it gets too late, I wanted to share two very different outcomes that could happen in the next 24 hours.

Picture this: it’s tomorrow morning – the morning after Election Day. You get out of bed, pour yourself a cup of coffee, and eagerly turn on the news to see the outcome of the Virginia elections – the most important and competitive elections in the country in 2023.

In the first outcome, you decided to chip in $10 one last time before polls closed. And now, in the news, you see that Democrats blocked a right-wing trifecta, held their VA Senate majority, and flipped the House of Delegates. You feel determined knowing that you helped defend abortion rights, access to the ballot box, and a progressive future in Virginia.

In the second outcome, your morning starts like normal – but this time, you decided not to donate that final $10 on Election Day. This time, you see on the news that Democrats lost their Senate majority, and Republicans held onto their House majority. The GOP now has full control of Virginia’s state government – and with it, unchecked power to implement extreme legislation.
