I’m very concerned. God warned that people will wander off into myths.

Celebrating 50 years of saving lives!
John,

We are in a unique moment for the Pro-Life movement, and to be honest, I’m very concerned.

Think of what the Apostle Paul told Timothy in the Bible...

In 2 Timothy chapter 4, Paul warns that people will turn away from the truth and wander off into myths.

Then he says, “As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.”
John, this is a message for us today.

There is a myth out there… a myth that the fight to save preborn babies is over, that we can move on to other issues. This is wrong.

Now, of course, the immediate meaning of this passage is to proclaim Christ, to evangelize a lost world with the Gospel of Jesus.

However, I’ve been reflecting on this passage because we see Pro-Life work itself as a ministry that God has called us to.

Texas Right to Life is a Christian organization, and I think about what this passage means for us:

>> We must be sober-minded - not determining how Pro-Life we are based on what others will think

>> We must endure suffering - not being worried about getting canceled or rejected

>> And we, too, have a ministry to fulfill…

The truth is that illegal abortions and euthanasia are still grave threats to Life in Texas today.

A recent estimate shows that over 19,000 women in Texas ordered abortion pills online in the last year.

Texas Right to Life had a specific role in the last 50 years to take down Roe. But that doesn't mean our ministry is fulfilled.

We are uniquely positioned to go on the offense, which they can’t do in other states right now.

To take the fight to the digital abortion clinic and to the pro-abortion forces in our schools, I want to expand these efforts:

1) Education - Train Pro-Life students to minister to pregnant women on campus

2) Enforcement - Investigate and expose new dangerous strategies to promote abortion in Texas

3) Litigation - Sue those aiding and abetting illegal abortions like pro-abortion groups, websites, and local governments

That is the ministry I need your help to fulfill.

And since you are reading this, I believe the Lord is calling you to partner with us.

That’s why I want to invite you to renew your commitment for the cause of Life by donating to Texas Right to Life during our 2023 Fall Renewal Campaign. ([link removed])

At this moment, we cannot afford to slow down.

John, I am honored to be in this ministry with you.

Thank you for 50 years of faithfulness. Thank you for following God's call into uncharted waters in this vital movement.
For Life,
