It’s unfortunate that the Virginia GOP thinks they have to oppress others to maintain power. As a former athlete, I prefer level playing fields and fair wins.
Election Day is only three days away, and early in-person voting ends TODAY.
The GOP, who set the voting rules for this election, made sure that happened to eliminate an old tradition: Souls to the Polls, usually led by Black churches on the Sunday before the election.
Let’s show the GOP that we still exercise our civic rights, no matter how hard they try to stop us. Go vote today by 5:00 pm, and take two friends. You can find your local registrar’s office here. If you can’t vote today, make sure you turn up to vote on November 7th.
I and my team will also be hitting the streets for the next three days to turn out the vote. If you’d like to give a little to help those efforts, it would be greatly appreciated. No matter how hard the opposition tries, we’re still going to vote.
