Betty Buck: a leader in the beer community
Last year NBWA honored Betty Buck, owner of Buck Distributing in Maryland and former NBWA Board Chairman, with NBWA’s Life Service Award. Watch this short clip to hear more about her leadership in the beer industry and the community from her daughters who happen to be following in her footsteps.

Laura Markstein, the head of Markstein Sales Co., talks about taking over the family business and being one of the top woman-owned businesses in the San Francisco Bay Area. “It is interesting to see how times have changed, and now there are so many suppliers that are really encouraging more diversity and having more women in their management teams, which I think is wonderful,” Markstein said.
