Dear John,

International Women's Day is this Sunday, and we at HIAS are honoring refugee
women and girls around the world who have braved unparalleled danger and shown
remarkable strength every day.

Millions of women and girls have been forced to flee crises and instability in
their homelands. But as they leave behind everything they know to find safety,
they’re often left without critical access to legal protection, mental health
services, recourse against gender-based violence and economic opportunities.
That’s why HIAS is on the ground across the globe – in Africa, Latin America and
across the U.S. – doing everything we can to make sure refugee women and girls
get the assistance they need.

To fuel our vital programs that support women and girls fleeing violence and
persecution around the world, we've set a goal to raise $100,000 by
International Women's Day on Sunday, March 8. Our critical work for refugees
depends entirely on the generosity of committed supporters like you:

Please, click here to make a gift of $18 or more today to
provide refugee women and those fleeing violence around the world with the
crucial assistance they need to build new lives in safety.

Every day, HIAS is working tirelessly in refugee camps, rural areas and cities
to provide women with the trauma counseling, legal support, job training and
financial assistance they need to build new lives in safety and freedom. Our
teams lead programs that help girls boost their self-esteem and their ability to
negotiate, communicate and respond to risk in moments of crisis. We also work
with community leaders to mobilize people to take a stand against gender-based
violence.

Refugee women and girls have the right to rebuild meaningful lives in safety and
dignity. That’s why we need to raise $100,000 before midnight Sunday to make
sure we can continue fighting for their futures – and we need your help to make
this life-changing work possible.

Donate $18 or more now – every single dollar you can spare
will help us provide crucial aid to women and their families fleeing violence
and danger around the world.
