A Word from the Communications Committee Chair

Dear Heavenly Father,

Today, we come before you to pray for our nation. We ask for peace to reign in our land, and for your guidance to be upon our leaders, that they may lead our country in the right direction. We ask that you bless our nation with prosperity, and that you protect us from all harm.

We also want to take a moment to thank you for all that we have. We are blessed to live in a country that allows us to worship you freely, and to pursue our dreams. We are grateful for the freedoms and opportunities that we have, and we ask that you help us to never take them for granted.

Lord, we pray for unity among our citizens, and for love to overcome hate. We ask that you help us to see each other as brothers and sisters, and to treat one another with respect and kindness.

In all things, we trust in your goodness and mercy. We know that you are a God of love, and that you care deeply for each and every one of us. We ask that you continue to watch over us, and to bless our nation in the days to come.

In Jesus' name we pray,

Amen.
