This week, our nation is mourning another tragic mass shooting and once again, the killer used an AR-15. The coming days will be filled with thoughts and prayers from politicians, and perhaps even a half hearted call for policy solutions, with no follow through.

While there are MANY common sense gun safety laws that could make our communities safer, right now, in the wake of the Lewiston, Maine shooting, we are doubling down on our call to ban assault weapons now.
