Bo French Tapped as Next Tarrant County GOP Leader

On Monday, October 23, Bo French was elected by precinct chairs as the chairman of the Tarrant County Republican Party. He replaces Rick Barnes, who is leaving after four years to run for the Republican nomination for county tax assessor-collector.

French, who previously ran in the primary for the Texas House of Representatives against Rep. Charlie Geren (R-Lake Worth) in 2016 and 2018, won on the second round of voting.

Paxton Continues Colony Ridge Investigation

The Texas House has approved legislation to ban employers from requiring COVID vaccines. Senate Bill 7 by State Sen. Mayes Middleton (R-Galveston) would prohibit employers from “adopting or enforcing a mandate requiring an employee, contractor, applicant for employment, or applicant for a contract position to be vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment or a contract position.”
