Over the past month, Congress has been paralyzed by the extreme House GOP. Since ousting Kevin McCarthy from the speakership, House Republicans have failed to elect a replacement for over three weeks, and this chaos is far from over.

With crises in Israel and Ukraine and yet another deadline for a government shutdown coming up in less than a month, it's especially critical that Congress has the ability to act.
