Johnson supports a nationwide abortion ban and cutting off funding for Planned Parenthood.
Johnson has denied the science on the climate crisis and questioned whether it’s caused by human activity.
Johnson has tried to slash Social Security and Medicare.
Johnson has repeatedly made anti-LGBTQ statements and introduced a “Don’t Say Gay” bill to the House last year.
Johnson helped create the legal strategy behind the Big Lie — Trump's effort to overturn the results of the 2020 election — despite no evidence of widespread fraud.

With a resume this extreme, it’s unsurprising that Lauren Boebert, who represents CO-03, is embracing Mike Johnson’s leadership — especially given his role as an election denier. She was right by his side yesterday celebrating his victory.
