It's time to get back to work, my friend.

House Republicans have elected a new speaker, and I'm ready to work with my good friend and colleague Mike Johnson. I've known Mike for years, and I know he shares my commitment to secure our borders, support our allies, and get our country back on track.

We have a lot of challenges ahead, and I'm looking forward to tackling them head-on. We owe it to the hardworking families who entrusted us to stand up to Joe Biden's failed presidency.
