The ultra-right wing Commonwealth Leaders Fund, backed by Pennsylvania's wealthiest resident, Jeff Yass, has poured millions into electing Republican candidate Carolyn Carluccio for state Supreme Court.1 That’s roughly one-third of spending on all PA judicial races combined.

The importance of keeping Carolyn Carluccio out of the state Supreme Court cannot be overstated. Not only is she extreme on our fundamental rights, she’d rule in favor of billionaires like Yass who profit from spewing smog into the air we breathe and dumping toxic chemicals into the water we drink.

We cannot afford to let our state courts start to look like the U.S. Supreme Court.

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court will decide the fate of the commonwealth’s participation in the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI) and, as we saw in 2020, can serve as our last line of defense for our democracy. We cannot allow a candidate allied with corporate polluters and funded by billionaires to become one of just seven justices on the state’s highest court.

With your support, we can match the enthusiasm of anti-environment voters and ensure that our voices are heard in the upcoming elections. Together, we can elect leaders who will hold corporate polluters accountable and stand up to attacks on our right to vote.
