John,

Sanford Bishop knows that public service is at the heart of elected office. During his time in the House, he has made the interests of his constituents in Middle and Southwest Georgia his guiding star.

But now that the GOP-controlled House of Representatives has fallen into dysfunction, we’re frustrated — alongside millions of Americans — that partisan games have taken precedence over delivering results.

The way to get Congress back to working for the people is to elect leaders who will serve the public interest, not their own political aims. Will you make a contribution to help re-elect Sanford Bishop and reestablish a Democratic majority in the House? [[link removed]]

Congressman Bishop sees the good in everyone. He famously works with any member who has a good idea, regardless of whether their name is followed by an R or a D.

Differences in values and approaches — those are healthy things in governing. But stopping the government from serving the public entirely is not okay. And while we hope House Republicans use common sense and bring the standoff in the House to an end, we’re planning on preventing the next crisis before it begins by winning in 2024 and taking the majority back from the GOP.

Will you please make a contribution to help us restore public service as the central tenet of good government? [[link removed]]
