One year ago today, on 10/21/2023, we were in the thick of our campaign to defend IL-06.

We were knocking on doors, registering voters, fending off GOP attacks, raising last-minute funds to compete with right-wing dark money, and busting our butts to win that election.

One year from today, on 10/21/2024, we’ll be doing the exact same thing.

That puts us directly in the eye of the election-season storm. And my staff and I really need your help to make the most of this brief window of calm.

If you can, will you make an investment in our pro-science, pro-choice, pro-democracy campaign and help keep this district blue?

Here are the boxes we need to check before 2023 is over, folks:

• Communicate our core message and achievements with voters before the GOP’s attacks continue
• Make early investments into our TV and digital advertising program
• Open up a dialogue with a broad range of IL-06’s diverse communities
• Register as many voters as possible before GOP voter suppression and disinformation ramp up
• Expand our network of small-dollar, grassroots supporters
• Consistently meet our monthly and quarterly fundraising targets

There’s a storm-a-brewin, so I’m making this formal request for your help to batten down the hatches. Please, will you contribute $15 to our rainy-day fund right away?
