The English Democrats reaction to the government's refusal to publish the report on grooming gangs.
The English Democrats deplores the fact that, yet again, the Government has let down victims of Child Sexual Exploitation.
The then Home Secretary, Sajid Javid, announced last year an in-depth Public Enquiry into the issue of grooming gangs operating up and down Britain.

He claimed that “there will be no no-go areas,” and that he would “not let cultural or political sensitivities get in the way of understanding the problem and doing something about it”.
Though the Enquiry completed its work in December last year, the Home Office has recently refused to publish its findings, claiming, despite calls from victims and victim support bodies, it will not be in the public interest.
We find this disgraceful
However, yesterday, the day before that and the day before that, today, tomorrow and the day after that, vulnerable young, sometimes underage, girls will get picked up, taken to a sordid room somewhere, plied with drink and drugs, and sold to a queue of men, ranging in age from those in their teens to those in their seventies, who will rape and sodomise their victims repeatedly.
For decades, The English Democrats have, at both local and national levels, raised the alarm about this outrage. While many prosecutions and trials have now taken place, and more than a thousand villains have been convicted, the crimes still go on happening, unabated.
It is a fact that a significant majority of convicted perpetrators are men of Pakistani heritage.
There is a pressing need for a multi-disciplinary, cross-organisation task-force to end this cancer within our society, and this party calls for the new Home Secretary, Priti Patel, to set this up, and release the embargoed Enquiry Report, without further delay OR we shall consider legal action to ensure the release of the buried report in the interests of public safety and political transparency.
