Yesterday, Republicans in Raleigh rolled out their latest plan to undermine democracy in North Carolina. Enabled by the State Supreme Court’s partisan reversal of constitutional law, Republican legislators have unveiled a set of Congressional and Legislative maps that illegally give them a super-majority in Raleigh and flip the balance of North Carolina’s representation in Washington.

NC Republicans’ maps are gerrymandering on steroids.

Not to mention, they were drawn behind closed doors, with no transparency and no real input from the public. Republicans in Raleigh want to choose their voters instead of voters choosing who they want. We cannot let these unfair maps become a reality, John.

North Carolina is a 50-50 state. I’m working around the clock to stop the GOP power grab and ensure that every single North Carolinian has their voice heard in elections to come.

Democrats are going to have to fight twice as hard to win next November, and I am committed to doing everything I can to help them win up and down the ballot.
