Dear John,

Yesterday Ameinu joined over 130 Jewish groups in a letter organized by the Jewish Council of Public Affairs in rejecting Islamophobia and anti-Arab hate.  The letter can be found here.

Nomi Colton-Max, Chair of the Executive Committee and Vice President, participated in a Conference of Presidents Fly-In in Washington. Over 300 leaders across the Jewish Community gathered and heard from Deputy Ambassador Eliav Benjamin, Senators Schumer and McConnell, and Representatives Jeffries and Scalise in their support of Israel.  Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas, like the speakers before him, shared personal stories and also promised to expand security for the Jewish Community in the United States and the Administration’s unwavering support of Israel.  The final speaker was a survivor of the massacre at the Nova Music Festival. It was a meaningful moment of unity in our community, and it was wonderful for everyone to be together.

Today, President Ken Bob joins the 48-hour Conference of Presidents Mission in Israel.  We wish all the participants a successful and safe journey.

Ameinu will continue to update you all through this most difficult time through programming, policy statements, suggestions on ways to help, and our behind-the-scenes involvement as this war continues.
