Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), insurrection defender, election denier, and Donald Trump proxy, is the Republican choice for Speaker of the U.S. House. Handpicked by Trump to be Speaker, Jordan will be SECOND in line for the Presidency as he leads the corrupt, bogus effort to impeach President Biden.

It is unbelievable but true: the MAGA mob that attacked the U.S. Capitol on January 6th is about to have their chief ally and defender elected Speaker. The anti-democratic forces of conspiracy, hate, and violent insurrection are in control of the U.S. House of Representatives. It is dangerous for the nation, and it is terrifying for Democrats!

In Congress, I will never back down from this fight for our democratic values and the values of our Democratic Party. At home in Minnesota, I am looking to DFLers for support to help me fight back against this MAGA takeover. The stakes could not be higher.

But you need to know, I am now being attacked at home by … a DEMOCRAT! The MAGA barbarians are taking over our government, and I have a DFL primary opponent, a former reality TV personality who says he “built a multimillion-dollar consultancy on media, film, and political strategy.”

My job is to serve my constituents first and foremost. Then, I need to win re-election, help Democrats win back the U.S. House, the Minnesota House, and keep Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in the White House.

We need to be focused on defeating MAGA Republicans (everywhere), but instead, I am going to first have to defeat a reality TV millionaire who is already running a negative campaign attacking me for my policies defending human rights.

Why is another Democrat raising and spending money to defeat me with so much on the line next year? I don’t know – but I will not back down. And I am asking you to stand with me and invest in my re-election. I am asking for your help.

That’s why I’m reaching out today. Our mid-month deadline is tomorrow night, and I just got word that we still need to raise $12,281 by then to reach our critical budget target.
