Millions of Americans are grappling with food insecurity. In Oregon, 1 in 5 people are wrestling with hunger, and this issue is even more pronounced when we consider historically marginalized communities. Black, Indigenous, other people of color, single mothers and caregivers, and trans individuals are two to three times more likely to face hunger.

On this World Food Day, I'm joining a global movement to raise awareness about the escalating threat of hunger and to call for action.

Will you stand with me today and support the Oregon Food Bank with a $10 donation?

The Oregon Food Bank Network is made up of 21 different regional food banks across Oregon that partner with more than 1,400 free food markets and pantries. Together, they distribute the equivalent of more than 78 million meals annually to Oregonians facing food insecurity. They are committed to getting Oregonians the fresh produce, dairy, protein, and other pantry staples they need.

For every $10 donated, the Oregon Food Bank can support the community with up to 30 meals.
