As you know, I’ve been very impressed with Liz Cheney’s bravery standing up to Trump and the MAGA base. Now she’s weighing in on the Speaker’s race and I agree with her again:

We absolutely cannot allow Jim Jordan, who tried to help Trump overturn the election on January 6th, become Speaker of the House.

I don’t think I could have said it any better than Liz Cheney. If Republicans elect Jim Jordan as Speaker, they will have completely abandoned the Constitution and ceded all power to the MAGA extremists.

If Jim Jordan wins, I am genuinely nervous for our democracy.
