John,

How many times a week do you get a phone call from “Unknown” or “Spam Risk”? Did you know that Americans receive more than 1.25 billion robocalls every month?

Robocalls aren’t just an annoying, everyday nuisance — they pose a serious threat to consumers, especially our older loved ones and neighbors.

That’s why Angus is not waiting to act on this. He is urging the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to get robocalls under control.

Now, Angus wants to hear from you: Do you support cracking down on illegal and unwanted robocalls? [[link removed]]

NO [[link removed]]

Robocalls often target the most vulnerable among us — with companies and bad actors using aggressive, manipulative tactics to gain folks’ personal information and hard-earned money.

The continued onslaught of illegal calls also threatens the trustworthiness and reliability of our nation’s telephone system. It’s unacceptable, and it needs to end.

Angus is committed to protecting consumers here in Maine and across the country and holding accountable those who are only looking to do harm.

Thanks for your input today.
