The Southern Poverty Law Center has designated ADF as a hate group towards LGBTQ+ individuals. As a staunchly anti-choice group, their aim in legal cases is to "protect all life," and, per their website, they affirm that their stance on legal arguments is "[l]ife should be protected from conception to natural death." So, this is yet another group with the idea of "conception" (whether or not that is in valid biological terms or follows any science) as the beginning of life, thus arguing for abortion to be outlawed or at least heavily restricted as it stands currently.
