Never could I have expected that I would run for office, but I’ve never backed down from a fight — no matter how formidable the opponent or how important the cause.

Louisiana needs new leadership and it needs balance in government. For too long, politicians have been beholden to special interests to do their bidding. All the while...

• Money for our children’s education decreases
• Oil and Gas giants buy our politicians
