John,

It's hard to believe that when we launched our campaign to bring courage back to Washington over 7 months ago, we had just a few thousand people on our list, a progressive platform of issues, with a belief that a small group of individuals can make a difference.

We grew our movement here in Georgia to over 100,000 active emails, 5,000 donations, and 2,500 signed up volunteers - all united behind the idea that when people come together, to fight the status quo, with courage, we can make real change happen.

Tomorrow I officially qualify to be on the Democratic Primary ballot this May 19th.

And even though I won't be running for the high office of United States Senator, I will be running for higher office! The DeKalb Super 6 Commission district. With a population of over 350,000 people, overseeing a billion-dollar budget.

John, you know that in order to make change we need to elect progressives up and down the ballot, from the White House to the State House down to the County House. That's why I need your help today.

Please chip in a grassroots contribution to help elect a young progressive to the DeKalb County Commission. Help me continue the progressive policies we championed in Clarkston, and take that fight to a higher level.

At the county level -- We can decriminalize marijuana possession, we can raise the minimum wage to $15/hr, we can make Election Day a Holiday, we can outlaw LGBTQ discrimination, we can ensure affordable housing as a right, and we will take action on Climate with a DeKalb Green New Deal.

John, you are one of my strongest supporters. I need you right now to help me kick off our campaign with a huge head start!

Show you stand with progressive change at all levels. Show that even though you might not be able to vote for me, you can help elect the next generation of progressive leaders to all levels of office.
2020 is not the last election of our movement, it is the next election in many to come. This is our moment to fight for the change we wish to see in the world.
