John –

Dan Crenshaw here. This week, with the question still open of who will be the next Speaker of the House, I want you to know that my support is with Jim Jordan. It’s time to get this done and go on with the business of governing.

And following Hamas’ devastating terrorist attacks on Israel, I called out the morally-blind messaging among many on the left – and unfortunately among some on the right – who are apologizing for Hamas and equivocating about “both sides”. I also highlighted a recent interview where one of the leading gun control activists in Washington was exposed for intentionally lying to the public about the capabilities of semi-automatic rifles.

As always, thanks for your support. Now, here’s your campaign brief:
ANYONE WHO SUPPORTS HAMAS IS ON THE WRONG SIDE OF HISTORY
You don’t want your children to grow up in a world where our enemies call the shots.

Iran wants to control the Middle East. Russia wants to control Europe. China wants to invade Taiwan and control Asia. North Korea wants to control South Korea. What do these countries share in common? Their goal of global domination.

If America removes itself from the global stage, then those countries will fill the vacuum. That will have a direct impact on our country and our people.

Hamas massacred Israeli and American citizens. This is obvious moral depravity, and yet we’re hearing of protests all across America supporting Palestinians and Hamas, defending them as if they’re the victims here. This is moral blindness. Israel is on the right side of history. If you’re equivocating about “both sides,” you lack a moral foundation.
HOW TO SET THE CONDITIONS FOR WAR
Thomas Sowell, who’s still writing books and going strong at 93-years old, succinctly explains one of the most catastrophic blunders in history — the military disarmament of western democracies throughout the 1920s and 30s. Leaders naively believed that disarmament and diplomacy would invite an everlasting peace. But as it turns out, when a country like the United States chooses to downsize its military, neglect the modernization of its weapons and tactics, and end their forward deployed presence in conflict regions — hostile totalitarian dictatorships take that as an opportunity to conquer new territories and exploit our vulnerabilities.

To put it another way, here’s how a country creates the conditions for wars:

  • Be vague about your willingness to stand up for your interests or your allies

  • Naively believe that your enemy’s actions are actually your fault, and then try to buy them off (say, for example, with $6 billion to Iran, courtesy of Joe Biden)

  • Allow domestic political divisions to dictate who we deem to be an ally, like the current protests in support of Palestine that we are currently seeing play out on the left

Plenty of politicians on all sides are guilty of these mistakes. They call for “peace” while their actions make peace less likely.

If you want to prevent wars, you need unequivocal moral clarity. If you want to deter aggression against yourself and your allies, you have to carry a big stick - and have no ambiguity about your willingness to swing that stick - and stop being naive about the evils of the world.

America is ready to support Israel and once and for all defeat Hamas and deter future aggression. Full stop.
GUN CONTROL ACTIVIST GETS ABSOLUTELY EVISCERATED FOR HIS DISHONESTY
You need to watch this.

Malcolm Gladwell eviscerated a dishonest gun control activist on his podcast for deliberately lying to the public about the capabilities of semi-automatic assault weapons. In the clip above, he’s telling Jack Carr the story.

The activist, Josh Sugarmann, founder and executive director of Violence Policy Center, has spent four decades trying to ban all guns in America. Among the many false statements about guns which Sugarmann and VPC make, they claim that semi-automatic assault weapons are capable of “spray-firing” bullets like an actual military-grade assault rifle. Except they’re not capable of spray firing – not even close. Semi-automatic fires one bullet per pull of the trigger. Automatic fires bullets continually until the trigger is released.

Gladwell knows this, brought Sugarmann on his Revisionist History podcast, and called him out for his organization’s blatantly false statements. It's worth noting that Gladwell is also pro-gun control, but he won’t allow himself to be intellectually dishonest with the public – even when it could advance his political beliefs.
My custom eyepatch is back in stock - with options for left or right eye. This makes for a great Halloween costume, but they’re also perfect for anyone who legitimately needs to wear one. Durable, strong, and comfortable. It’s the same eyepatch I wear everyday.
